Most people who walk in asking for a Caliburn already know they want one. The hard part is which one, because the G5, the G5 Lite and the older G4 Pro all look like the same device in photos and all three are on our shelf right now. Here is how I explain the difference across the counter, and which one I would actually hand you.
Quick answer: Buy the Caliburn G5 Lite if you just want to fill it and vape. Buy the Caliburn G5 if you want a screen and control over wattage. Buy the Caliburn G4 Pro if battery size matters most to you, since it carries 1800mAh against 1600mAh on the G5 pair.
The short version: same pods, same 35W, different extras
This is the bit that surprises people. All three devices top out at 35W and all three take Uwell's GPP cartridges. So the flavour gap between them is smaller than the price gap.
What you are really paying for is the screen, the battery size and how much you want to fiddle. The G5 Lite gives you none of the fiddling. The G5 gives you a display and settings. The G4 Pro gives you a touchscreen and the biggest cell of the three.
If that already answers it for you, fine. If not, read on.

Caliburn G5: the one with the screen
The Caliburn G5 is the full spec model in the G5 family. 1600mAh battery, output you can adjust up to 35W, a stepless airflow slider and Uwell's Starlit Ocean display. The display is where you change output modes, brightness and check your battery.
The airflow slider is the part I like most. Close it down and you get a proper tight MTL pull for nic salt. Open it and you get a smooth restricted lung hit on a 0.4 or 0.6 ohm pod. Plenty of pod kits only do one of those well. This one handles both.
It ships with three pods, one of them a 3ml 0.6 ohm GPP Alpha, so you are not running to buy spares on day one.
Who should skip it
If you will never touch the wattage, you are paying for a screen you will ignore. If you are the type to set a device once and forget it, the Lite saves you that money.
Caliburn G5 Lite: the one I recommend most
The Caliburn G5 Lite has the same 1600mAh battery, the same 35W ceiling, the same stepless airflow and the same GPP pods. What it drops is the screen. You get a 4-bar LED instead: green, blue, yellow, red as the battery goes down.
For someone moving off disposables, this is the device. Fill the pod, slide the airflow to where you like it, vape. No menus.
The body is light PC with a translucent outer shell, and it comes in a long list of colours. It feels less premium in the hand than the G5. That is the honest trade.
What about the G5 Lite SE?
The Caliburn G5 Lite SE is the leather finish version. Same 1600mAh battery and PRO-FOCS flavour tech, slightly higher price. Buy it if you care how the device looks on the table. Inside, you are getting a G5 Lite.
Who should skip it
If you like seeing exactly what wattage you are on, or you switch between nic salt and freebase every week and want to tune each one, get the G5 instead.
Caliburn G4 Pro vs G5: the older one still has a case
People assume the newer number wins. Not here, at least not on battery. The Caliburn G4 Pro carries an 1800mAh cell, which is the largest of the three, plus a touchscreen and a metal chassis. It also hits 35W and uses the same GPP pods.
So in the Caliburn G4 Pro vs G5 question, it comes down to this:
- Go G4 Pro if you vape heavily, work long shifts and cannot charge until you get home.
- Go G5 if you want the stepless airflow slider and the newer Starlit Ocean display.
The two sit in the same price class, so this is a preference call, not a budget one. I would not tell a G4 Pro owner to upgrade to the G5. You would be swapping a bigger battery for a different screen.
Which Caliburn for whom
First pod kit, coming off disposables
G5 Lite. Least to learn, cheapest of the three G5 family options, and the same pods as the expensive ones if you upgrade later.
You want control and a screen
G5. Adjustable wattage and the Starlit Ocean display, plus a slider that handles MTL and RDL.
Heavy all day vaper, rarely near a charger
G4 Pro. The 1800mAh battery is the reason to buy it.
Looks matter
G5 Lite SE in leather. Same internals as the Lite.
Tight budget
The Caliburn G3 Lite is still on the shelf and costs less than any G5. It is auto-draw only, runs a 1200mAh battery and takes the Caliburn G3 series pods in 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 ohm. It is a good starter, just know you are a generation behind.
A note on the square one: the Caliburn G5 Koko shares the 1600mAh battery and 35W output, but it is out of stock right now, so I am not making it a pick today. You can see every model we carry in Uwell pod kits, or compare across brands in all vape devices.
Pods and juice: what to buy with it
All three devices run the Uwell Caliburn GPP 3ml pods, sold in packs of three. Pick by how you vape:
- 0.9 or 1.2 ohm: tight MTL, best with nic salt.
- 0.6 ohm: the middle ground, flavour and vapour balanced.
- 0.4 ohm: restricted lung hits at higher wattage.
Coming off disposables or cigarettes, start on a 0.9 or 1.2 ohm pod with nic salt. The draw feels closest to what you are used to. Fill up from the nic salt collection, and keep spares from Uwell replacement pods in your drawer so a tired coil never ends your day early.
Caliburn G5 price in Pakistan, and buying an original
The Caliburn G5 price in Pakistan puts it in the Rs 7,000 class, level with the G4 Pro. The G5 Lite and Lite SE are both under Rs 5,000. The product pages always show today's price, so check there before you order.
Popular pod kits get copied, and a copy is no bargain when the pods leak or the battery gives up in a month. Buy from a shop that sells genuine Uwell stock and lets you pay cash on delivery, so you see the box before you pay.
One more local point. Summer heat is hard on any lithium battery. Do not leave your device on a car dashboard or in direct sun in June. A 1600mAh or 1800mAh cell will last a lot longer if you keep it out of the heat.
These products contain nicotine and are for adults 18 and over only.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Caliburn G5 and G5 Lite?
Both run a 1600mAh battery, go up to 35W and take the same GPP pods. The G5 adds the Starlit Ocean display with adjustable wattage and output modes, while the G5 Lite has no screen, just a 4-bar LED battery light, and costs a lot less.
Is the Caliburn G4 Pro better than the G5?
Not better, different. The G4 Pro has the bigger battery at 1800mAh and a touchscreen. The G5 has a 1600mAh battery, the Starlit Ocean display and a stepless airflow slider. Both reach 35W and both use GPP pods, and they sit in the same Rs 7,000 class.
Do the G5, G5 Lite and G4 Pro use the same pods?
Yes. All three run Uwell Caliburn GPP cartridges, so one pack of GPP pods works across all of them.
Which GPP pod resistance should I buy for nic salt?
For nic salt and a tight, cigarette style draw, pick the 0.9 ohm or 1.2 ohm GPP pod. The 0.4 ohm and 0.6 ohm pods are for a looser restricted lung hit with more vapour.
Is the Caliburn G5 Lite SE different inside from the G5 Lite?
No meaningful difference on paper. The SE is the leather finish edition with the same 1600mAh battery and PRO-FOCS flavour tech. You pay a little more for the outer shell.
