How to choose

Resistance tells you what the coil is for. At 0.16ohm and 0.23ohm you are in sub-ohm territory, which means 40 watts or more, a direct-lung draw and 3mg or 6mg freebase. The 0.6ohm DC MTL and the 0.8ohm and 0.9ohm LP1 coils are the tighter end and are the ones to pair with nic salt at 20mg to 35mg. The platform split matters more than the number: RPM 2 and RPM 3 coils are not interchangeable even though the names look close, and LP1 and LP2 are different sizes entirely. Check the coil your kit shipped with before ordering. A sub-ohm mesh coil run at the top of its wattage range will usually give a week of heavy use, while a tighter MTL coil at low power often lasts two weeks or more. Prime a new coil by wetting the wicking ports and leaving it standing for a minute before the first pull.
