Freemax Replacement Pods

Collection: Freemax Replacement Pods

These are the Freemax replacement pods stocked on the store, three cartridges covering the Rexa and Galex kits. Each one is a complete pod rather than a loose coil, so the coil is replaced with the cartridge. Between them they cover 0.4ohm up to 1.2ohm, which spans a restricted lung draw down to a tight mouth to lung pull on Freemax pod kits.

What's in this range

Three pods are listed, and the kit you own decides which one you need.

  • Freemax Rexa pod in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm, which fits the Rexa Pro and Rexa Lite and is the only one here with a full resistance choice.
  • Galex V2 pod 3ml at 0.6ohm, the larger capacity Galex cartridge.
  • Galex replacement cartridge 2ml, the original Galex pod for the earlier kit.

How to choose

The Rexa pod is where the real decision sits, because it is the one sold across four resistances. Fit the 1.2ohm for a tight mouth to lung draw and run 35mg or 50mg nic salt behind it, which is the setup most people coming off cigarettes want. The 0.8ohm is the middle option and is comfortable at 25mg to 35mg. Drop to 0.6ohm or 0.4ohm and the airflow opens, the vapour volume climbs and 20mg becomes the sensible strength, with the 30W output on the Rexa kits having enough headroom for it. The Galex pods are fixed at a single resistance each, so there is no choice to make there beyond matching the 2ml or 3ml version to your kit. Prime any new pod by wetting the cotton ports and letting it stand a couple of minutes before the first draw, which is the main thing that decides whether you get one week or two out of it. Tanks and other Freemax spares are in Freemax pods, coils and accessories, the kits are in vape devices and pod kits, and all spares across brands sit in vape accessories, coils and pods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Freemax kits do these pods fit?

The Rexa pod fits the Rexa Pro and Rexa Lite. The Galex 2ml and Galex V2 3ml cartridges fit the Galex kits, and the two Galex versions are not the same part.

What resistances are available?

The Rexa pod comes in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm. The Galex V2 pod is 0.6ohm and the original Galex cartridge is sold in a single version.

Do Freemax kits use coils or pods?

Pods. The coil is built into the cartridge, so you replace the whole pod rather than fitting a separate coil into it.

Which resistance should I use with 50mg nic salt?

The 1.2ohm Rexa pod. Lower resistances push more vapour per puff and are better matched to 20mg to 35mg.
