Vaporesso Replacement Coils

Collection: Vaporesso Replacement Coils

Replacement coils for Vaporesso tanks and pod mods, six listings here. Most of them are sub-ohm tank coils rather than pod kit coils, and the range across the page runs from 0.15ohm up to 1.2ohm, so read the platform name before ordering rather than going by the brand alone.

What's in this range

Each listing belongs to a specific Vaporesso coil platform.

  • GTX coils, the widest listing on the page, covering 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm, 0.3ohm, 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm, 1.0ohm and 1.2ohm, which makes it the only platform here that reaches MTL resistances.
  • GTi mesh coils for the iTank, in 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm and 0.4ohm.
  • GT8 Core coil at 0.15ohm and the GT Mesh coil at 0.18ohm, both for the GT and NRG tank family.
  • QF Strip coil at 0.15ohm for the SKRR tank.
  • X MOTI Mini replacement coils, the one listing here that is not a tank coil.

How to choose

Resistance is the whole decision. Anything at 0.15ohm to 0.4ohm is a sub-ohm coil for direct-lung vaping at higher wattage, and it needs a low-strength freebase bottle, usually 3mg, because the vapour volume is high. The GTX platform is the one that also reaches 0.6ohm to 1.2ohm, which is where you can run a restricted or MTL draw and a stronger liquid. Read the wattage window printed on each coil and stay inside it: running a mesh coil above its range burns the cotton in a day, and running it well below gives a weak, cool vape. If you own an XROS, this is probably the wrong page, because XROS kits use a sealed pod with the coil built in rather than a separate coil, and those are listed under Vaporesso Replacement Pods. Everything Vaporesso makes in spares sits in Vaporesso pods, coils and accessories, the kits are in Vaporesso Pod Kits, and low-strength bottles for sub-ohm use are in Freebase E-Liquid.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Vaporesso coil do I need?

Match the platform, not the brand. GTX coils fit the GTX pod tanks, GTi coils fit the iTank, GT and QF coils fit the NRG and SKRR tanks. They are not interchangeable.

What resistances are available?

From 0.15ohm to 1.2ohm across the page. The GTX listing alone covers eight different resistances.

Do XROS kits take these coils?

No. XROS pods have the coil built into the pod, so you replace the whole pod rather than fitting a coil.

Which coil suits nic salt?

A GTX coil at 0.6ohm or above. Anything at 0.4ohm and below is a sub-ohm coil and should be paired with low-strength freebase instead.

How long does a coil last?

Roughly one to two weeks of daily use, less with sweetened or dark liquids, which coat the mesh faster than clear fruit flavours.
