Collection: Freemax Pods, Coils & Accessories
These are the Freemax spares stocked on the store, four items covering the Rexa and Galex pod platforms plus one disposable tank. Freemax builds the coil into its pods, so you swap the whole cartridge rather than fitting a coil. Resistances run from 0.4ohm to 1.2ohm, which covers tight mouth to lung through to a restricted lung draw on Freemax pod kits.
What's in this range
Four items make up the Freemax spares range here.
-
Freemax Rexa replacement pod, stocked in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm, which fits the Rexa Pro and Rexa Lite kits.
-
Freemax Galex V2 replacement pod, 3ml at 0.6ohm.
- Freemax Galex replacement cartridge, 2ml, for the earlier Galex kit.
-
Freemax GEMM disposable sub-ohm tank, available in black, blue and clear, which is a complete tank rather than a pod.
How to choose
Check which Freemax kit you own first, because the Rexa and Galex pods are not interchangeable and the Galex changed between versions. On the Rexa, resistance is the real decision. A 1.2ohm pod gives the tightest draw and the longest life, and pairs with 35mg or 50mg nic salt. A 0.8ohm pod is the middle ground at 25mg to 35mg. A 0.4ohm or 0.6ohm pod opens up into a restricted lung draw with much more vapour, so move down to 20mg salt or a 3mg freebase. The GEMM tank is a different thing again: it is a sub-ohm tank for a box mod, not a pod, so run it with low strength freebase. Fill a new pod and let it stand five minutes before the first draw to avoid burning the cotton. Pods on their own are listed at Freemax replacement pods, and spares for every brand are in vape accessories, coils and pods.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which kits does the Freemax Rexa pod fit?
The Rexa pod fits the Freemax Rexa Pro and Rexa Lite kits. It is stocked in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm.
Do Freemax pods include the coil?
Yes. The coil is built into the pod, so you replace the whole cartridge when flavour drops off.
Is the GEMM tank a pod?
No. It is a disposable sub-ohm tank designed for a box mod, so it belongs with low strength freebase rather than nic salt.
Which resistance should I choose?
Use 1.2ohm with 35mg or 50mg salt for a tight draw, 0.8ohm with 25mg to 35mg, and 0.4ohm or 0.6ohm with 20mg salt or 3mg freebase.
